Gurung (Tamu) society successfully organized an exciting hiking trip to Minnewaska State Pak (upstate New York ) for its members on October 11, 2009. The members enjoyed the spectacular countryside views as well as apple picking. During the occasion, Tamu Society announced an essay competition for youths on “The Environment Survival".
